Classic War Movies

The Museum of Aviation Foundation is looking to offer a free fall/winter evening movie series, "Classic War Movies Series” The purpose of this event would be to honor our Veterans. This series would feature six movies on Friday or Saturday evenings that families or couples could enjoy at no cost. We conducted a survey and plan to show movies that the community voted on. The movies chosen were Sergeant York, The Bridge on the River Kwai, The Great Escape, The Longest Day, 12 O’clock High, and Patton

While these movies are offered free to the public, they are not free for us. Therefore, the Museum Foundation is seeking donations. The copyright for each movie is approximately $350, but all donations are welcome. If a donor decides to cover the cost of at least one movie, they will be given the opportunity to come to the movie, hand out information, and have their business advertised on screen before the movie, as well as on our social media sites and website leading up to the movie.

If you are interested in donating, know that all donations are tax deductible, as we are a 501c3 non-profit organization.  Your donation not only helps us offer more for the community, but also benefits your company in the coming year. For more information, please contact the Museum at 478-923-6600, or email Gwen Davis at gdavis@museumofaviation.org.
