The 483rd Bombardment Group, a B-17 unit assigned to the 15th Air Force in Italy, will be shuttering their Association. Surviving members will be here to tell their fascinating war stories. During the ceremony, there will be a color guard retirement of their colors and its four squadrons with a short historical summary of the group. Their archives are located at the Museum of Aviation and many are on display in the Eagle building. Check out the archiving process as students from Middle Georgia State University digitize and catalog the 483rd records and photos on site.
