Last summer, Museum of Aviation Foundation offered a free children’s summer movie series. Each week we showed one popular children’s movie in our Scott Theater, and had a tremendous turnout for each showing; averaging over 200 guests per movie. The response from the public for offering these showings was excellent. They were a wonderful free activity to offer to the community, while encouraging visitation to our Museum.
Because of the success of this movie series, we are looking to offer another “summer movie series” this year. This series would feature six movies on Friday afternoons—this will allow our National STEM Academy’s Summer Camp students to attend the event, as well as families from the community.
While these movies are offered free to the public, they are not free for us. The copyright for each movie is approximately $400. Therefore, the Museum Foundation is seeking movie presenters. The cost to present is $400 per movie, which will directly offset copyright fees. As a presenter, your organization will be given the opportunity to come to the movie, hand out information, and have your business advertised on screen before the movie, as well as on our social media sites and website, leading up to the movie.
